Book Series: Origami Yoda by Tom Angleberger

In addition to The Strange Case of Origami Yoda, the series includes five sequels: Darth Paper Strikes Back! (2011), The Secret of the Fortune Wookiee (2012), The Surprise Attack of Jabba the Puppett (2013), Princess Labelmaker to the Rescue (2014), and Emperor Pickletine Rides the Bus (2014). Tommy Lomax, Dwight Tharp, and their friends return for more adventures with Origami Yoda and several other Star Wars-related origami puppets constructed by students. Harvey Cunningham returns to harass Dwight, Sara Bolt makes two origami puppets, and she and Tommy continue their friendship. A seventh book, ART2-D2’s Guide to Folding and Doodling (2013), shows how to make origami versions of various Star Wars characters.
